A pixel is a square of colour like we saw in the above paintings.
Every screen or TV is made up of these individual pixels of colour. If you look closely at your monitor you can see them. Each image is made up of millions of these pixels In fact a standard screen has a resolution of 1080p (1920x1080). This means that going from left to right on your monitor there are are 1080 pixels. There are also 1920 pixels going down. Multiplying them together you get over 2 million dots of colour. |
